I just wanted to put an update out there for those of you with plans to go to Market On The Move this weekend.

The 3000 Club on Facebook stated:

Regretfully, Tomei Shabboff on 2120 E Lincoln is not able to host MOM on Sunday. Will run a full load at Mekong Plaza in Mesa. Boeing employees are volunteering tomorrow..

If that was the location you were planning on going, here is the full list of locations.

And they also said that they were expecting Bell Pepper, Corn, Roma and Regular Tomatoes, and Squash. There will be Broccoli and Carrots but not at all locations.

 

Here is a scenario for those of you who need help on where to begin when shopping at Walgreens.

With ‘rolling’ RR at Walgreens, be careful of which items you are using the RR on. You can not use an RR on an item by the same manufacturer (IE Schick RR used to pay for another Schick product, this would not produce another RR.) Still dont understand? Go HERE for more information.

Here is a little about the people who put on Market on the Move:

The 3000 Club is a group of like-minded individuals, small business owners, volunteers and non-profit agency(ies) and organization(s) who contribute either $100, $500 or $1,000 per year or $10 per month in order to help rescue the millions of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables that would be thrown in the landfill in Nogales, Arizona and distribute it instead for free to the needy and hungry families, especially their children.

They receive different varieties of tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, melons, cantaloupes, beans, zucchini, eggplants corns and watermelons.

You can get UP TO 60 lbs of produce for $10. I hear sometimes they limit how much of certain items you can get but it is still a lot cheaper than you’ll get it anywhere else.

Remember to look at what you are getting so you don’t get home and be disappointed in the condition of the produce.
